About the Role:
As a Front End Engineer at UpTroop, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining high-quality, performance-optimized front-end code. You will play a key role in ensuring our interactive skilling modules offer a seamless and effective user experience, leveraging the latest front-end technologies and automation tools like Playwright.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, well-tested, and performant UI/UX code that aligns with our innovative skilling solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technology trends and identify areas for code optimization and enhancements.
• Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical debates to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Work closely with QA to identify and resolve bugs or performance issues, and implement continuous optimizations to improve application speed and efficiency.
• Mentor junior developers by providing guidance, feedback, and support, fostering their growth within the company.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for frontend projects, incorporating automation testing tools like Playwright.
• Manage dependencies and third-party libraries efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing cross-browser compatible and efficient frontend applications.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and familiarity with Redux, Flux, and other modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with build tools like Webpack and testing frameworks like Playwright, Enzyme, Mocha, or Jest.
• Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques and a solid understanding of UI design principles.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code and debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
